Building Packages

Our A-frame Kit Homes come standard as a lockup kit. This includes the Subfloor, Steel Frame and modular steel Walls, Single and Double Glazed Windows and Sliding doors. Standard External clad is colorbond Trimdeck in a range of colours. Weather tight flashing as per colorbond colours.

Planning & Building Permits

When you engage our service, the first topic we cover is your land and location. We also consult your local council regarding any requirement for a planning permit. We then prepare drawings and site plans for your building permit.

Drafting & Engineering

All of our kit homes are custom designed. We collect your ideas and form a design that eventually will become a set of engineering drawings required for your building permit. We manage this entire process in house.

Warranty

Frame Steel has a 50 year warranty through Bluescope Steel. Modular steel components come with a 15 Year warranty. All other components and materials are supplied with 7 year warranty. All products are supplied with Australian Standard certification.

Bushfire BAL Ratings

Our A-frame kit homes are BAL bushfire rated. BAL–LOW BAL–12.5. BAL–19. BAL–29. BAL–40.
BAL–FZ. (FLAME ZONE).
When we complete your building engineering it will reflect the BAL rating requirements of your property.

Wind Ratings

Our A-frame kit homes are designed in relation to your locations wind rating. N1, N2, N3, C1, C2, C3. Wind ratings are calculated in accordance to AS/NZS1170.2:2002.

Energy Ratings

When we complete your engineering certification, the same time we complete an energy assessment. All of our kit homes are supplied with a minimum R6.1 energy rating. You are welcome to consult with us to achieve a higher R-rating.

Sustainability

Our environmental footprint is minimised by the investment and education around our standard building product and precision cut and manufactured components.

Our manufacturing and consolidation warehouse is located in Thornbury Melbourne. We do a regular delivery run from Melbourne to Brisbane. We flat pack your kit home and deliver to your site. Tasmania clients we pack a Shipping container and send via Toll into Burnie. Local Vic delivery can be done at anytime.
